Making a donation online to support your favorite charitable fund(s) is quick and easy through our PayPal account.  Click on the “Donate,” button below to get started.

How to make my donation online:

  1. Click on the “Donate” button.
  2. Enter in your donation amount and personal information (You don’t have to have a PayPal account to donate and can use your credit card).
  3. Click on “Review Donation and continue.”
  4. If you are donating to a specific fund, click on the small box with the plus sign next to the “Add special instructions to the seller,” and enter in the name of the fund.  If you are donating to multiple funds, list the name of each fund with the designated amount next to it.

* All credit/debit card donations are subject to a 2.2% processing plus 30¢ transaction fee.

** Each donor who enters their own credit/debit card information directly online is entering his/her data into a secure web portal provided by PayPal.  The Ottawa County Community Foundation assumes no liability for credit/debit card information provided by the donor to a third party.

Apply now for fall grants!

The Smoky Valley Community Foundation is now accepting applications for fall grants. Online applications are due Monday, October 15, 2018. Over $36,000 is available for charitable community improvement projects within the Smoky Valley area, which covers northern McPherson County and southern Saline County. Grants will be awarded from the Smoky Valley Community Enhancement Fund to address the present and future needs of the community; the Smoky Valley Healthy Living Fund to promote and encourage healthy lifestyles; and the Heritage Fund to strengthen and promote the heritage of the Smoky Valley area. Scholarship recipients announced

The Smoky Valley Community Foundation has awarded over $52,000 in scholarships to area students for the upcoming academic year. The Brandon Rogers Technology Scholarship is for a senior graduating from Smokey Valley High School majoring in the field of technology. Tyler O'Dell, Lindsborg, received a $2,000 scholarship. The Clyde And Glenn Lindstrom Scholarship is for seniors graduating from Smoky Valley High School or Smoky Valley Virtual Charter who are pursuing a post-secondary education in a vocational field.
