Donor Advised Funds

Donor Advised Funds (DAF) allow the donor to recommend eligible charitable recipients for grants from the fund. (The Foundation’s board has final approval of the recommendations.)

Donor Advised Funds are one of the most flexible funds the Foundation offers because a DAF allows a donor to consolidate all tax deductible assets and charitable giving into one vehicle that is invested by the Foundation for growth. DAFs can be established by individuals, families, companies or the rollover from a private foundation.

Smoky Valley Community Foundation announces spring grant recipients LINDSBORG, Kan.— During its spring grant cycle, the Smoky Valley Community Foundation awarded over $11,000 to six projects throughout the Smoky Valley area. Smoky Valley Community Foundation Community Support through COVID-19

Smoky Valley Community Foundation Community Support through COVID-19 In collaboration with three local charities, the Smoky Valley Community Foundation is working to support the Smoky Valley community during the COVID-19 crisis. In addition to donating $750 each to the Lindsborg At Work Association, the Messiah Luthern Church Dala Pantry and The Associated Churches of Lindsborg, SVCF is hosting a matching event from May 15 through June 15, 2020.
