Donor Recommendation Form

Making a grant from your donor advised fund is very easy.  Simply fill out the donor recommendation form below and either mail or fax it to our office.  Once we receive your form, our office will mail the grant along with a letter to your charity of choice.

Grants are typically made within one week and will be distributed from our host, the Greater Salina Community Foundation.  If you need it processed sooner than that, please call our office, 785-445-3611

Donors can also make grant requests online through their Donor Central account.  Don’t have one set up?  Contact the Foundation and we will set up one for you.

Community foundation awards scholarships

The Smoky Valley Community Foundation has awarded over $34,000 in scholarships to area students for the upcoming academic year. The Brandon Rogers Technology Scholarship is for a senior graduating from Smoky Valley High School majoring in the field of technology. Joshua Peterson, Lindsborg, received a $1,000 scholarship. The Clyde And Glenn Lindstrom Scholarship is for seniors graduating from Smoky Valley High School or Smoky Valley Virtual Charter who are pursuing a post-secondary education in a vocational field. Smoky Valley Community Foundation announces spring grant recipients

The Smoky Valley Community Foundation awarded over $13,000 to nine charitable projects in the area during its spring grant cycle. Projects were funded through the Smoky Valley Community Enhancement Fund and Kansas Health Foundation Fund for Smoky Valley. The following organizations received funding: Messiah Evangelical Lutheran Church, $3,000 to purchase supplies for the KICK (Kids in Christ's Kingdom) afterschool program. Broadway RFD, $3,000 for a sound system upgrade. Bethany College, $2,300 for equipment and choreography for group fitness classes, which will be offered to the community free of charge.
