Clyde & Glenn Lindstrom Scholarship

AMOUNT:
Multiple scholarships at least $2,000 each.

GEOGRAPHIC LIMITATIONS:
High school seniors qualified for graduation from Smoky Valley High School or Smoky Valley Virtual Charter School.

CRITERIA:

  • Applicants must be a student in good standing qualifying for graduation from Smoky Valley High School or Smoky Valley Virtual Charter School.  If the budget allows, any graduate of Smoky Valley High School or Smoky Valley Virtual School may also qualify after graduating seniors and renewals have been considered, as long as they meet the following criteria.
  • Applicants must plan on pursuing a post-secondary education in a vocational field.
  • Applicants must submit a resume that includes the following:
    • Extracurricular activities in which you have been involved and your roles and responsibilities in each.
    • Community activities in which you have been involved and your roles and responsibilities in each.
    • Special honors and awards you have received.
  • Applicants must submit a copy of their most recent high school transcript.
  • Applicants must provide short answers to the following questions:
    • How would this scholarship be helpful to you?
    • Why are you a good candidate for this scholarship?
    • Why have you selected the anticipated field of study?

RENEWALS:

  • Recipients may apply for renewal for a second year as part of the total applicant pool as long as the recipient is still attending post-secondary education in a vocational field and is still in good standing. Preference will be given to first year applicants.
