Community Impact Grants

What do the funds support?

  • Grants are intended to support (however not limited too): 
    • The current and future charitable needs of the Smoky Valley Area (areas served by USD 400)
    • Protection and promotion of the health and wellbeing of individuals and their communities through encouragement of healthy lifestyles, behaviors, and environments
    • Projects that support the work of the local community in enhancing, strengthening and promoting the heritage of the Smoky Valley area

Who's eligible to apply?

Grants are limited to the Smoky Valley area.

  • 501(c)(3)
  • Education
  • Government
  • Religious Organizations

 

Application Timeline

There are 2 grant cycles available each fiscal year.  Applications will be accepted between the following dates: 

  • August 15 - October 15 (Fall Cycle)
  • March 15 - May 15 (Spring Cycle)

What type of grant requests will NOT be considered?

  • Incomplete or late applications
  • Political projects of any kind
  • Organizations or projects that practice discrimination of any kind
  • Operating deficits or retirement of debt (if a project has already happened or been paid for, this is considered funding debt)
