Donations to SVCF are Matched Through November 13th!

LINDSBORG, Kan.— The Smoky Valley Community Foundation is hosting a second match month event with hopes to get more matching dollars from the Patterson Family Foundation to continue building its local nonprofit funds. The event kicked off on Svensk Hyllningsfest weekend and goes until November 13th.

Any donation made from October 13 to November 13 to one of the Foundation’s organization funds will be matched at 100% up to $2,500 per organization by the Patterson Family Foundation. Contributions to these funds helps provide a permanent source of income for area nonprofits whose programs and services contribute to quality of life and economy of Lindsborg and surrounding areas.

“Building a robust and sustaining endowment is a top goal for the Lindsborg Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum. The opportunity to have donations to our endowment matched, dollar for dollar is greatly beneficial as we plan for the future of the mill and the Swedish Pavilion”, said Michael Chambers, Vice-President of the Old Mill & Swedish Heritage Museum’s board of directors.

All donations are tax-deductible. Gifts can be mailed to Smoky Valley community Foundation, P.O. Box 84, Lindsborg, KS 67456. Donations must be received by November 13. For online donations, click here.
