Smoky Valley Community Foundation announces fall grant recipients
During its fall grant cycle, the Smoky Valley Community Foundation awarded over $8,000 to three projects throughout the Smoky Valley area. The following organizations received funding:
- Bethany College $3,000 to build dugouts on both sides of the viking field.
- City of Lindsborg $2,790.72 to purchase CPR and AED training equipment for the City Pool.
- Lindsborg Community Hospital $3,000 to purchase recumbent stepper to be used for Cardiac Rehab program patients in the Wellness Center
This round of grants was made possible by two funds at the community foundation: the Smoky Valley Community Enhancement Fund, which focuses on improving quality of life throughout the Smoky Valley area and the Kansas Health Foundation Fund for Smoky Valley.
